When You Need Exact Control

AI Prompt Lab, Module 3 of 5. When the words, the source, or the look must be exact, use the tools built for it instead of writing a longer prompt.

Lock the Words That Can't Change

Highlight any words in your prompt to lock them, or wrap them in [[double brackets]]. Locked text appears in the email character for character, and an automatic check confirms it survived. Use it for offers, prices, dates, and legal lines.

Control Tools in KineticAI

  1. Point at what you mean — name an uploaded image ("put the hero-shoes image in the header") or a product image by its number ("use image 3 for the boots"). Product images are numbered in the order you ranked them.
  2. Content Source — paste an article address. Digest mode quotes its passages word for word; full mode reproduces the article as the email. The article's images can be saved to your brand library.
  3. Style reference — star your best emails in My Emails, then pick one. The new email copies its look and structure, never its words.
  4. Saved sections — save a header or footer once and it is inserted exactly as saved. Saved sections belong to a brand, so select the brand first.

The KineticAI details page covers every control in full.

Bring Your Own Copy

Want every word to be yours? Draft the copy with any LLM, paste it into the prompt, and lock the lines that must not change. The module provides a copyable primer that tells the LLM it is writing for a kinetic email (interactive HTML with no JavaScript, with a static version for inboxes that cannot run it) and asks for a copy doc rather than HTML:

Alternatively, the Campaign Companion (Premium) already has your brand style guide and KineticAI's prompting knowledge, so it writes build-ready prompts with no primer.

Prompting Without a Brand

With no brand selected, a longer prompt earns its keep because the AI has nothing else to go on. Six lines are enough; the interaction, fallback version, tracking, and footer layout are still added for you. Set colors in the Color Scheme tab rather than in words.

Create a [what] for [who].
Voice: [three words, e.g. warm, direct, playful]
Business: [one sentence: what you sell and why people choose you]
Offer: [the offer and its deadline, if any]
Main link: [the URL every button should go to]
Footer: [company name, mailing address, unsubscribe link]

Try It Now

With a brand and a product selected, write one sentence that locks an offer line in [[double brackets]] and names the product image you want by number. Check both in the result.
