Email Render Simulator

A free, split-screen tool for checking how email HTML renders across four major email clients: Apple Mail, Gmail, Outlook and Yahoo. Paste or edit HTML on the left and see each client's version on the right, updated as you type.

How it works

What gets simulated

Each client is modeled by the features it strips or changes. Gmail, for example, removes style blocks, form controls, video and audio, CSS animations and transitions, positioning, gradients and many pseudo-classes and pseudo-elements. Outlook keeps head styles but shows Outlook-only (MSO) conditional content, while the other clients hide it. The result is a quick read on which parts of an interactive email survive in each inbox and which fall back.

AMP emails

When an email with an AMP version is opened in the simulator from KINETIC, the editor gains HTML and AMP tabs, and the Gmail pane renders the dynamic AMP version, labelled Gmail AMP. To check whether an AMP document is valid, use the AMP4Email Validator.

Saving edits

Opened from a saved workspace email, the simulator adds a Save button that writes your hand edits back to that email and records a version in its history.

Compatibility reference

The Compatibility Reference lists CSS and HTML support for the same four clients, feature by feature. For dozens more clients, see caniemail.com.
