Refine, Check, Report

AI Prompt Lab, Module 5 of 5. Most emails need one or two small fixes, not a new build. Refine one thing at a time, check every inbox view, and report when the AI got it wrong.

Refine or Regenerate?

Refine edits what is already there: words, colors, links, one element at a time. It keeps the structure. Regenerate when you want a new structure, a different kinetic feature, or more tabs or slides. One change per refine is the rule; five at once usually means one goes missing.

Refines that land cleanly

Regenerate instead

Refine and the AMP version

A refine changes the Kinetic email, so its AMP version is cleared rather than left out of date. Once the Kinetic version is right, rebuild the AMP version from the Gmail view.

Check Before You Ship

  1. Every inbox view — switch the preview between Apple Mail, Gmail, and Outlook. The Gmail and Outlook views show the version people see there.
  2. A test to yourself — send the email to your own address from the Send button before exporting it.
  3. A free retry on a low score — when an email scores low on the quality checks, a free regeneration is offered, with the failed checks fed back to the AI.

Save and Roll Back

Every save keeps a version. If a refine goes sideways, restore any earlier version from the email's page in My Emails. About to try something bold? Save first.

Report This Output

When a build comes out wrong, click the flag beside Send and say what went wrong. The email, your prompt, and its quality results go to the KINETIC team, and you get credits back, up to a daily limit. Reports decide what gets fixed first.

Try It Now

  1. Refine one headline.
  2. Check the Gmail and Outlook views.
  3. Save, refine again, then restore the first version from My Emails.
