You've Got Mail (1996–2001) — AOL brings email to the masses with HTML formatting and embedded images.
Always Connected (2002–2007) — BlackBerry puts email in every pocket. Mobile-first thinking begins.
The Gmail Revolution (2008–2013) — Gmail transforms email with threading, search, and the Promotions tab.
The Outlook Era (2014–2019) — Microsoft dominates enterprise. Responsive design battles begin.
The Kinetic Age (2020–Present) — CSS interactivity transforms static emails into dynamic experiences.
How It Works
Six radio inputs share one name attribute. When a radio is checked, CSS :checked selectors combined with sibling combinators (~) reveal the corresponding slide and hide the others. Navigation arrows are label elements pointing to each radio input.
